"Special Forces"- Movie Trailer/Poster

A movie on SF.... so just call it "Special Forces" simple, it doesn't get more original than this, a real no-brainer. And in case you're wondering, they're French not U.S. SF (Green Berets).

Trailer looks serviceable but kinda resembles a French 'Tears of the Sun'. Don't get your hopes up, actual could be bad....(fingers crossed).

Zombie fever catches on in Asia.... promising looking trailer. NASTY!

L'ASSAUT (2011) MOVIE POSTER/TRAILER

A chance to see GIGN in action. Interesting to see how the film can sustain viewer's interest right up to the final assault on the aircraft....(i'm guessing we'll be catching glimpses into both the lives of the hostage takers & GIGN members, their families, training & planning for the rescue etc.)

L’Assaut‘s plot synopsis: “On Christmas Eve 1994 four armed men from the Islamic terrorist group GIA hijacked Air France Flight 8969 in Algiers. When they landed in Marseille the plane was raided by highly trained French forces and all four kidnappers killed.” (Opens March 9, 2011 in France)

BATTLE: L.A. (MOVIE TRAILER)

Hot from the oven.... forget 'Skyline' checkout 'Battle: Los Angeles'. Feels like an updated ID4 for the 21st century with some grunt vs alien urban warfare action....

EAT THIS !!!

More glorified ZOMBIE mayhem.... this time from ITALY.

GANTZ (Live Action)

This Jap manga/animae should be familiar to the 'otakus' out there.

The comic & animation was violent, bloody, at times funny & with lots of boobs all in one.... & the live action trailer certainly looks promising.

Synopsis for the non fans: The films stars Kazunari Ninomiya as Kei Kurono and Kenichi Matsuyama as Masaru Kato, two college students who die in a train accident only to be brought back to life by a mysterious black sphere known as GANTZ. Equipped with advanced weaponry and special suits that give them superhuman abilities, they’re forced to carry out alien assassination missions, earning “points” toward eventually buying their freedom. However, various incidents along the way complicate matters.

ZOMBIES ZOMBIES ZOMBIES !!!

I luv zombies & zombie movies, there's no denying it..... the classic slow stumbling kind, those 21st century 'fast mover' ones etc etc etc. Which is why i'm dying to catch this latest French release.

Sypnosis: On the outskirts of Paris, four corrupt cops go on a rampage to avenge the murder of one of their own by a group of ruthless gangsters, holed up in a condemned building. Once there, the officers’ personal vendetta turns into a nightmare. Trapped, they are about to be executed when the unimaginable occurs: hordes of bloodthirsty, cannibalistic creatures invade the building, savagely attacking everyone. Running to the roof, the survivors discover that their entire world is in chaos. The streets are filled with massive heaps of countless cadavers and the entire city is in flames. Alone and wounded, despite their mutual hatred, the gangsters and cops have no choice but join forces if they want to survive. They’ll have to make it down thirteen floors full of voracious creatures but the greatest threat lies elsewhere…

BROOKLYN'S FINEST

An intense cop drama from the director of Training Day which was one of my all time favorite cop movie. With Ethan Hawke in the cast as well as Wesley Snipes back in his 'New Jack City' roots. Release Mar 2010, lookin forward!!!

Scene with the ESU sure looks cool. Damn, wunder if they ever had a 1/6 Body Bunker manufactured???
